AUTOMATE YOUR PROCESS
Congratulations, you’ve conquered simulator deployment, integrated your security controls, and mastered the platform’s operation and remediation methods. Now, it’s time to automate it. ! You can schedule your preferred attacks and watch as your systems are continuously put to the test.
This section’s objectives are:
- Automate your attack schedule
- Schedule a meeting with your Customer Success Manager
Section 1 – Create an Attack Schedule
Create an automatic attack schedule. SafeBreach recommends adding the “Getting Started” package attacks to the automated schedule and running other attacks like industry specific attacks and specific APT coverage attacks on demand.
In this example, you will create a weekly schedule that will include the following attacks:
- Step 1 – Fortify your network perimeter
- Step 2 – Validate your endpoint protection
- Step 3 – Defend against internal network propagation
- Step 4 – Optimize outbound egress filtering
- Step 5 – Run the 3 latest known threats
Start by creating a draft of the schedule, inserting the scenarios above:
Now, create this schedule in the platform, by choosing the scenarios and scheduling them manually.
Choose one of the attack scenarios:
Now, schedule it to the time you planned earlier:
Repeat for the rest of the scenarios.
Now you have an automated attack scenario schedule that will help you to track your security performance over time and receive remediation insights in the future.
